georgia gop virtue signaling

after the fulton county district attorney indicated shes pursuing the recent trump call to sec of state to find 11,780 votes and threatened him, (two felonies) the georgia gop in legislature has a new bill saying election matters can only be done by state, not a county district attorney.
why is it virtue signaling?
1. needs super majority. that ain't happening. dems will scoff.
2. would be on the ballot in 2022.
so cant help trump anyway even if its approved by the public.
but they show trump not to blame them georgia gop.
