Dude, GM has been pumping billions into plants for years now.

quote:

Since June 2009, GM has announced U.S. facility investment of approximately $16.8 billion. About $11.4 billion of that has come since the 2011 UAW-GM National Agreement. In total, these investments have created 3,650 new jobs and secured the positions of approximately 20,700 others.

That's from a press release in 2015. Stop acting like this is new, unprecedented stuff. It isn't. Plans haven't been shelved. You can go read GM's annual reports from years past.

GM's CEO was actually being considered for some kind of cabinet position under a Clinton presidency.

This announcement must have been very bitter for her.

FOX News. And GM has several factories in Mexico.

One of them makes truck axles today. Next year that plant will be in Michigan, Ohio, or some other rust belt shite hole.

You mean, for helping save GM? Something the conservatives on this board were strongly against.

Thanks Obama

Obama did that? It was drawn up in Dec. 2008
