Would you support releasing the warrant? Or at the very least it being disclosed to members of Congress?

What came back shocked us. Mr. Steele’s sources in Russia (who were not paid) reported on an extensive — and now confirmed — effort by the Kremlin to help elect Mr. Trump president. Mr. Steele saw this as a crime in progress and decided he needed to report it to the F.B.I.
Entertain me for a second. What’s the crime here?
When British authorities helped Trump win the election was that also a crime? What about the Saudis helping Clinton? Was that a crime?

Of course. I’ve said it before Trump should declassify the FISA warrant.
But to say that Trump has made anything political in this climate we suffer through today; is intellectually dishonest, Boosie.

Why is it intellectually dishonest? Link me to another sitting President accusing his predecessor of using the national security apparatus to spy on him.
You can argue Trump was justified in making his accusations, but he very clearly is the one who accused the Obama administration of using the FISA Court for improper political purposes.

This is not an accusation but the truth as we have come to find out.

accused
As a lawyer; you know what this word means.

It is time to stop chasing rabbits. The public still has much to learn about a man with the most troubling business past of any United States president. Congress should release transcripts of our firm’s testimony, so that the American people can learn the truth about our work and most important, what happened to our democracy.

Not sure how your reply is germane to my post.
How is it intellectually dishonest to say Trump accused the Obama administration of improperly using the FISA Court to spy on him? He fricking tweeted it

Yeah, Obama spied on him, his people unmasked his transition team. These are facts, as we know them. Was their good reason? If it was this Dossier, the answer seems to be no...,

When have we had a president as dirty as obama ?
Posted on 1/2/18 at 9:41 pm to Turbeauxdog
Then release the warrant and prove it.

Calm down. Reread my post. This is NOT what I called you intellectually dishonest for. Do you bill by the hour?

It's not clear to me what this is in reference to. Also, Steele is a Brit so who knows how he evaluated it.
Steele would want to alert the FBI to any potential counterintelligence threats though. We still have our allies thankfully.
Posted on 1/2/18 at 9:42 pm to boosiebadazz
If Trump declassified the FISA warrant the entire left and NeverTrumpers would be apoplectic about obstruction of justice.
The info will eventually come out. Sorry it’s not on your terms.

Like the Secretary is State’s emails on an unsecured server?

Trump is the one who accused the Obama administration of using the FISA Court improperly. That’s not even really debatable being that he tweeted it.
I’m still not sure what I’m being intellectually dishonest about. Ultimately not a big deal, though. We both agree we’d all be better served if the warrant was released/reviewed

Prove what?
We know the administration spied on trump, which validates his claim. Now we're just curious as to the level of sinister in the motives.

Both spurred counterintelligence investigations.

You keep going back to this and I don’t know why.

Don’t know if I really care or am even surprised.

Agreed.

I’m ok with it not being released while the SC investigation is going on, but it needs to be either addressed in the S.C. report or reviewed by members of Congress.
Trump’s accusations are incredibly serious and should not be taken lightly.
