Probably half the Republicans in Congress are "classic liberals" - hell, Rand Paul is certainly a classic liberal.
On the left, they're mostly marginalized. I mean, Alan Dershowitz is a "classic liberal". Maybe there are others.
I haven't voted for a modern liberal - ever. I started voting in the 1980s.

The US Court System? Wtf? How is that a brand? Anyway, I'm glad Trump has been busy fundamentally transforming the federal judiciary back into a... judiciary.

Think about it? Every time they lose a legislative battle, they leverage the courts. Trumps election, the travel ban, etc...
To liberals, the judiciary is a law making body, not a law interpreting body.
