Florida cop spooked by falling acorn and opens fire on public

The body camera footage is just astounding. An acorn dropped on his patrol car and he immediately starts shouting to the other officers that he has been shot. He immediately starts unloading his weapon on the patrol car with an unarmed, previously searched, and handcuffed suspect in the backseat. His equally dumb coworkers, without hearing or seeing any gunshots, immediately freak out and are ready to fire on the public around them. The suspect in the back seat was found to be uninvolved and never should have been in custody in the first place. He was immediately released. Unbelievable.

The officer resigning isn't enough. He needs to be charged with attempted murder on the suspect in the patrol car, assault with a deadly weapon, and public endangerment. The other officers should be terminated and charged with impeding an investigation.
