You’re not cosplaying and getting 22 years in prison. You’re not cosplaying and getting any time in jail.
Should he have gotten 22 years? Who the hell knows. We can debate that endlessly. The judge threw the book because he likely wanted to stop the mindset that says you leave a protest and enter a building.
You want to protest, do it. Spend days, months out there protesting and shouting and making a display. But you don’t enter the damn building. The lack of adults who think you can just keep pushing the line with impunity is a line that needs to be reestablished. Hopefully this did it.
