I have collected 68 responses and figured that would be sufficient so I'll stop bothering y'all. A lot of people in my class only get 20 or so by emailing everyone in the class so my teacher should be impressed. Thanks a ton to everyone who completed the survey! Here are the results with all majority answers on the first section being correct:

1. What country will be the supplier of oil in the Keystone XL Pipeline?

67/68 Canada
1/68 China

2. What will be the source of the crude oil supplied in the Keystone XL Pipeline?

48/68 Tar sands
16/68 Oil shale
4/68 Conventional reservoirs

3. What company will construct and operate the Keystone XL Pipeline?

53/68 TransCanada
9/68 ExxonMobil
4/68 Shell
2/68 Koch Pipeline Company

4. True/False: The Keystone XL Pipeline will be an expansion project built onto a pre-existing pipeline?

51/68 True
17/68 False

For the next 3 questions: On a scale of 1-5 with 1 being strongly disagree and 5 being strongly agree:

1. I believe the Keystone XL Pipeline will be very harmful to the environment.

Average rating = 1.54

2. I am very concerned about the U.S.'s energy dependency on unstable foreign nations.

Average rating = 4.04

3. I agree with the decision to prohibit the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline.

Average rating = 1.29

I have only seen 1 incorrect response so far. I suspected I would find this sample group to be more educated on this topic. I may lump y'all in with reddit if I can't get enough responses and compare y'all to facebook and twitter.

Tuba, there seems to be a lone outlier on the last scaling question of my survey. You wouldn't know anything about this would you?

You should've started this thread during the week when there's more traffic and better quality posting. Most posters are doing weekend things right now.

Hmm, I thought Sunday would have more traffic with more people laying around the house and maybe initially going to the tiger rant to reflect about last night's game and then branching outward.

The Rant is slow too. TD may or may not pick up later tonight. Bump this thread tomorrow.

I couldn't figure out how to display the right answer after your submission on survey monkey. I will display the results once I hit 100 submissions (I think that's the max). I'm already near 30

I may quote you on this in my paper

Well I don't fricking know dude - because you don't tell us if our answers are correct or not!

Now since my IP has already taken it - I can't even find the question to see what it is to look it up and see if my answer was the right one or not.

So the answer to this question is : I DON'T frickIN' KNOW

The problem I have with the pipeline is I just don't think its government's role to force private landowners - at point of a gun if necessary - to sell their land to foreign private entities.

What say you so called "libertarian" conservatives? You're A-OK with federal or state governments using the threat of deadly force to remove private landowners from their property so that a foreign private entity can purchase it at a price the landowner may not even deem fair? Just so your own energy related expenses will be lower? Sounds kind of anti-libertarian to me.

The outlier occurred on one of the opinion questions, but that's an interesting perspective. That will definitely help me out a lot when making points for the anti side in my paper later.

<----took your quiz.

Additional question: why does Obama have jurisdiction over the Keystone Pipeline project?

You must be furious about the federal interstate highway system.

If this is a question for me, to my understanding it has to do with a clause that allows him to preside over issues that pertain to "national interest." Are you quizzing me in return, suggesting I add that question, or just inquisitive?
