As much as I agree, and that I wish he could. We both know that if he did, he'd end up impeached and in jail. Those guys in Iran and China aren't getting anything done to them.

Trump's only option is to invoke Insurrection Act. The Supreme Court last year blocked him from using the 1903 (Dick Act) for federalizing the guard.
The Insurrection Act is more politically risky because it is supposed to only be invoked during a true emergency (people being murdered, roving gangs of armed thugs, buildings burning, etc.). That's why Trump wanted to use the less incendiary laws like the 1903 act.
IMO, he is making the right choice. Let those idiots continue making fools of themselves. Let them continue screaming at people in churches. Eventually they will "cross a line" where there is no coming back and the Army will be sent in. Trump can say "Look I was patient, I waited weeks."
So far I have seen nothing the Feds can't handle. These people are really annoying and dumb, but it is nowhere near as bad as the LA riots were. What I have seen are people blocking streets mostly. Annoying, but not worthy of the Army. The worst offense was storming that church, but they were so stupid that they filmed it. FBI can easily go arrest those people under the Klan Act, FACE Act and other statutes. They were dumb enough that I don't think they realized they were committing federal felonies.
