how do you spot who is here illegally and who is not before you arrest them?
ICE must be doing a fantastic job because despite thousands and thousands of detentions, there are only, what, 3 substantial court cases (CO, IL CA) that are currently at an injunction or a stay, both of which can be appealed

Are you opposed to NYCs stop and frisk?

How does one know if an illegal is illegal?
That should take ICE all of, what, 15 mins to figure out for basically any person here. Can't provide immediate proof of SSN, green card, etc? You're detained until we can sort you out.

ICE has a pretty good idea beforehand who the violent offenders are and Homan has been clear about that which also prevents profiling entanglements

there is no law requiring anyone walking down the street to be carrying any passport or ID card validating one's nationality
Driving, yes. LEO can compel you to present ID. If I'm not mistaken, ICE/CBP can compel a suspected illegal/legal non-citizen resident to present green card, etc.

what is the probable cause for detaining someone and asking for that ID?
Hopefully, ICE has done their homework in advance and it seems so far that they have been extremely successful. Otherwise, this is the crux of the issue. Judges are getting in the way of ICE executing their duly obligated responsibility. It's one thing for an individual judge to tell ICE on an individual case they need reasonable suspicion. It's another thing for 3 judges in 3 different states to make a sweeping ban on practical and customary ICE activity. Pretty much all reasonable people see that as overstepping their authority

Since when does border patrol and USCIS need warrants? This is like saying a patrol officer needs a warrants before stopping a traffic violation.

We need a judge to deem it a crime to continually allow criminals to roam our streets and commit crime after crime
