McCabe, by his own account, made it sound like an ordinary national-security-related briefing of the sort Flynn was accustomed to giving the FBI. Even though McCabe clearly knew that Flynn was a potential subject of investigation, he deliberately dissuaded Flynn from having attorneys present.

The agents who questioned him said he was being truthful. Not sure any of the other stuff you are blabbering about really matters.

They said in their own 302's that they wanted Flynn ungrounded, relaxed and at ease. They also said that Flynn treated them like they were allies and so on.

That's their own words in their own 302's.

You're still a sick piece of shite that disgusts me.

FBI agents who conducted his interview signed 302s saying Flynn was truthful in his testimony and the 302s were later adjusted to get him on a process charge of lying to investigagors meanwhile Clinton brings 8 lawyers to an interview , knowingly avoided federal record request, lies to the investigators and not even an attempt to take her to court. It’s weaponized justice - thanks Obama

Here's an idea: streamline FBI procedure to mirror that of typical state law enforcement procedure. The feds have a luxury state law enforcement officers don't: there's no recording of formal federal interviews. Were this a state crime, Flynn would have been interviewed and advised of his rights, thereby triggering his desire for counsel.

You act as if Flynn's experience should make him more aware of the need for a lawyer. I'd argue the opposite. He is someone who has probably had thousands of conversations with FBI agents about all kinds of things. He is much more normalized to conversations with them than 99.9% of Americans. I imagined he believed this conversation to be no different than any others he'd had in the past. However, if the Feds had to sit him down, inform him of his rights and record their conversation, I imagine he'd have lawyered up immediately.

This is why the FBI is so perverse: 302's allow agents to stretch the truth or lie with impunity.

That pretty much just bolsters my point

He thought he could charm them, same as he thought he could lie to Pence and get away with it

That's massive ego, not naivety

Keep up with the ad homs, though, that really strengthens your arguments

The agents didn't think he was lying. Reports were changed after the fact. Keep defending this shite, Mr moderate.

You know what, I'm going to try and meet you in the middle

I wouldn't care if they threw out every single piece of evidence that Peter Strzok even glanced at and every case he was a part of

I can honestly hold that thought in my head while at the same time also believe Flynn is an arrogant piece of shite who lied to multiple DOJ entities and also the Vice President and deserved to get fired and rung up on charges

This whole Flynn the Victim charade is utterly bizarre considering his choice to dive headfirst into his government cooperation, including 5 proffer sessions with Mueller before he even got a deal

Jerome frickin Corsi had more balls than that

You guys can continue your love affair with the guy, though, I know that lock her up chant was emotional for you

You mean those same agents that thought he didn't lie to them and didn't put out a new 302 until months after the meeting when Mueller thought Flynn would be a quick scalp?

They're not an argument.

They're a statement of how I really feel about you and your disgusting cheerleading of entrapment by political hacks from what is supposed to be a non-partisan institution.

Get fricked.

I hope the arrogant assholes at the FBI have a chance to frick you up some day.

You don't have to do anything, they just have to be in the mood.

Kind of easy to do when they threatened prosecuting his son.

Or is that acceptable to you too?

He keeps ignoring the 302's. Did Flynn even know he was the subject of an investigation?

It's indefensible.

Maybe his son shouldn't expose himself to prosecution by being a corrupt POS himself

You never know when something like this may happen to you. If it does I sure hope you don’t bitch about the treatment you receive. It’ll be poetic justice since you think police state tactics are OK.
