I’d like an example please. I believe McCain to be a good person even though I disagreed with him. I think he always voted for what he thought was right.

He ran his entire reelection campaign on repealing Obamacare. When the vote came, he was the deciding vote. To give the middle finger to Trump he walked to the front of congress and gave an overly dramatic thumbs down. It was show to shite on Trump. He went against what his constituents put him there to do just to give the middle finger (or thumb) to Trump.

Take away healthcare for 20 million people and you’ll see a real riot. He did the right thing even if it’s not the best healthcare it’s better than nothing.

Or maybe he grew a spine and voted for what he believed in. Maybe if more republicans would’ve done that the gop wouldn’t have been torn apart by president Trump. In it’s current form it’s hard to believe a republican could win in a contested state.

Then he lied right up until the moment he cast his no vote. That is a lack of principles. I dislike Bernie and think he's nuts, but he says what he means and stands behind it.
Trump didn't kill the Republican party the establishment permeant ruling class did. They didn't like their power being challenged by an outsider. Maybe maybe not, the Dems are just as fractured. I don't really care both are garbage and don't care about the people they pretend to represent. But the people are too stupid to vote any of them out.
