"FACTORY OF SADNESS" - the Louisiana Legislature

This image caught my eye today.
I wouldn't limit this theme to the Constitutional Carry issue. Rather, I think the legislature itself is the well-spring of much of the cultural and educational rot, dismal business climate, and the all too often last-place rankings in the quality of life department.
My general outlook of the typical LA legislator and their ability to adequately process and act on the data before them is dismal. Uneducated voters continue to elect uneducated and unqualified people to represent them in BR and ultimately manage the State. The system has become closed-minded and incestuous. I suspect that the typical LA politician doesn't have the intellect to properly articulate forward-thinking ideas and bring them across the finish line. The entire legislative mindset in BR is unsettling. Fragmented and incoherent at best fueled by corkscrew logic. Sad...

The Rino’s caved today on the state budget and basically told Bobby Bouchet Sr (JBE) to go ahead and blow the 1 billion dollar excess wherever he chooses.
It could have been used to pay off debt that would saved the state 150-200 million dollars per year.
It is freaking sickening!

And JBE is a lame duck in his last year, and they failed to stand up against him.

I'm very surprised the Democrats or literally any other party hasn't completely taken over this state. All they have to do is run a semi-competent campaign highlighting the failures of the Louisiana GOP and they should win.
It's amazing our legislature has been so red for so long, yet we are one of the worst states in the country for taxation and over-regulation. There comes a point where you can't blame Democrats anymore for why your state is a poster child for Republican-led ineptness.
Senator Paige Cortez and Fred Mills are shining examples of ineptness, cowardice, and corruption in this state.
Things won't change. Our red neighbors are seeing a population increase and we are the only red state with a net decrease. You want things to change, MOVE.

Most of the Republicans were Democrats so....

The Haywide, with all due respect, is a major part of the problem.
They are this upset over Constitutional Carry... and while I understand it's an important thing, it is FAR down on the list of things that are hurting this state.
The reality is this... the GOP in this state only get upset when social issues aren't passed. The GOP voters in this state are perfectly happy with big spending, corruption, etc. They don't value education. They don't value business. They want someeone else to pay the bill.
Most of them are attorneys. In Louisiana, attorenys serve to get money to the citizens and take it away from business and successful entities.
Here is Louisiana in a nutshell. The politicians want to steal for themselves. The voters don't elect people who will stop the stealing, they elect the people who will share some of the theft with the voters.

LA has much more of a "uniparty" than the feds could ever dream of having.
The "left" in LA likes guns, God, and doesn't care much for the gays and trannies. The "right" in LA loves big government, populism, and doesn't care much for low state taxes.
THe LA Legislature might as well stop putting a D or an R by their names... cause it doesn't matter.

This is true. There are a good number of Republican representatives with no more than a high school diploma who are representatives - Horton, Amedee, Goudeau, Hodges, Schexnayder (Speaker of the House), etc.
