Cases are spiking in areas that never had a first wave. Why is this so hard for the media to say?
Look at New York City. They had their first wave and aren’t spiking in cases despite people being in the street for weeks yelling and screaming in large groups.
The media doesn’t want to tell you that our lockdowns actually were very effective. They were effective at delaying the first wave to certain areas. It’s exactly why cities with no significant outbreak shouldn’t have shut down. All it did was delay the inevitable.
This wave will pass in those cities too.

This weak virus is emphasizing the need very real need for a culling of OUR (humankind) herd.
We have been supporting our weak and vulnerable and now Nature is reaping that harvest. There is no stopping it, only prolonging, increasing, kicking the can down the road.
We humans are not that much different from all the animals and plants. Overcrowding, a higher proportion of compromised members...look to the recent deer herd problems with chronic wasting disease. In my lifetime I've seen deer, bison, squirrels, birds, many plant types, all of these get out of natural balance and then have a die off bringing their populations back to balance.
We're not special when it comes to natural forces.
TLDR: If they die, they die.

Are we cold hearted, un-Christian for feeling this way?? I just keep trying to get/keep myself right with God. Other than that, I wash my hands, stay away from the little man in the grocery doing the shopping .. but I refuse to not live life.

Remember when we "had to do this to save the hospitals!!!"
Flatten the curve?
Yeah. That was a lie

un-Christian for feeling this way
No one lives or dies except by the will of God. All things have a purpose and once that purpose is fulfilled, the "thing" has completed its destiny.

Cases without context of tests and population size is useless data point
But the media likes to show scary chats (and why they are now hiding deaths and death rates)

I’ve been saying the same thing now. The new surge is from areas that haven’t had it yet. The numbers will start decreasing soon I believe.
