Human beings are animals, don't know why people make this distinction when we are one big family. They remove their distinction of being a human whenever they commit a barbaric act.

It's not revenge, it's consequences. If it is layed out that you will die for certain crimes, what's the difference than life imprisonment for those crimes? Why should I pay for a murderer's mistakes for the entirety of their life?

The way the death penalty is used could use some tweaking, nothing is perfect. Why does someone get life for pleading guilty to a murder, plea deals, etc.? They did it, end of story don't make them a burden on society.
