The article gave no examples of “racial balancing” in discipline.

Does that mean fewer suspensions for black students, or increased suspensions for all other students?

If a black kid and a white kid fight at school, is only the white kid suspended?

Reuters just describes the worries about the administration’s action without providing concrete info about the current situation.

No, what it’s saying is minority students weren’t suspended as frequently as white students when they committed similar offenses in order to weight statistics more evenly
