Yes, and always have been, but that in my estimation is not the bigger issue, that being those who aren’t trans but want to normalize it, protect it, and even promote it with kids. Those people are the truly sickos in this country.

Their entire existence revolves around portraying themselves as women. They can’t have children, they can’t breast feed, they can’t be nurturing mothers, they can’t be real wives or even adequately pretend to be.

If this was a MAGA fanatic who had a lunatic manifesto about Trump being the savior of man kind but had been cheated out of his true reign, do you think they would hide it? Of course not. They would blame Trump for one of his nut followers killing little kids. Frontline would have a 2 hour special blaming Trump's comments for everything in the manifesto.
