Covid was just another example of, "Never let a crisis go to waste."
It's gotten to the point that our leadership in this country knows they can do whatever they want if they just use a crisis to bypass any form of debate.
I was a skeptic before all of this. Now I'm downright pessimisstic.

Yes but rarely has it been used so widely and authoritatively. Plus it gave Governors powers they never dreamed of having.
