Dolly and the devasting fires in East Tennnesse

Dolly didn't wait on FEMA or other government services to assist those families. She didn't ask if they were Republicans, Democrats, or Independents. She saw a need and responded, no matter their political beliefs.
We need more Dolly's today in America. Heaven's choir gained a true Angelic voice today.

Sure, in this one instance there was a celebrity with a charity organization that is run well enough to target donations specifically for the region she lived in.
Relying on charity orgs for disaster relief generally would be a bigger disaster than the natural disasters that created the need.
Not everywhere has a Dolly or her well run and beyond-reproach foundation. Not even close. Most “charities” are total fiction.

Correct. You’re either a 501c3 or you aren’t. If your organization has political affiliation or a determined political goal, you aren’t a 501c3.

Though I do believe the IRS lacks teeth when it comes to the Johnson Amendment.
