Really, at what point do people say "don't patronize me, assholes."

you're wrong. this is 100% wrong

it's pretty much all culture. just look at the Flynn Effect (and how consuming information is linked to the cause of it)

The Flynn Effect doesn't disprove heritability among various people. As far as i know, James Flynn never even made this argument. It only proposes that enviromental factors play a role in intelligence, which everyone agrees with.

that's why Japan and China were able to adapt their backwards economies so quickly

Another simple explanation is that the people of those nations inherit the highest IQ's of anyone on the world. Their ability to rapidly build a modern economy out of nothing is just an expression of that high intelligence.

and progs LOVE to blame colonialism to explain why non-Euopean countries are so far behind

Yep. Look at the history of Southern Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) and you'll see the benefits of colonialism. Prior to the British arrival there, the natives were leading a pre iron age existence. The Europeans had two big advantages and it had noting to do with gunpowder although that was important too.

The wheel
Horses

The British moved that society from a pre iron age existence into an industrial one within 80 years just by using the above and turned the area into an agricultural powerhouse.....fortunately, Mugabe and his successor set it all straight, they are moving backwards
