We're better than they are and "that's how other countries do it" doesn't mean shite. In fact, that's an argument people like BamaAtl and Robert O'Rourke use to attack the Second Amendment.

I'm giving him a chance to further explain himself because he's coming very close to wishing our government to behead foreigners on video like ISIS.

You’re a moron. I said nothing along those lines. You and your boyfriend keep acting like these are natural rights once someone comes in. We treat our own citizens below these people. That is what you stand for.

But you did. You responded to my post about asking if the government has the right to torture foreigners with a statement about how other countries treat americans.

I don't disagree.

Another fabricated narrative based upon an emotional response by you.

I'd say yes, Memorial Day includes the honored dead of Both the Union and the Confederacy. Confederate veterans are (were) considered to be veterans by the post war US government.
Men in my family, brothers, from North Georgia fought for the Union and others for the Confederacy - they all survived the war. The family left Dahlonega, Ga for the Oregon trail, and peppered my people in Iowa, Arkansas, Texas and Oregon.

Don't. These kinds of people don't give a frick about the Constitution, beyond where it supports their personal beliefs.
They don't understand the difference between a positive right and a negative right. They love positive rights, because it allows them to assert their personal views into the lives of others.
...and they have no fricking clue how the Second Amendment fits into any of that. It's a political football to them. A talking point. "Real big 2A guys, but..."

Has anyone pointed out yet that Memorial Day was invented by southern women for confederate soldiers?

You're a fricking moron. A pardon does not mean those who fought for the Confederate States means they magically fought for the United States.

Yankee ....you need to look at the history of the day ...
A Union General started the day.
In the years following the bitter Civil War, a former Union general took a holiday originated by former Confederates and helped spread it across the entire country.
The holiday was Memorial Day, an annual commemoration was born in the former Confederate States in 1866 and adopted by the United States in 1868. It is a holiday in which the nation honors its military dead.
Gen. John A. Logan, who headed the largest Union veterans’ fraternity at that time, the Grand Army of the Republic, is usually credited as being the originator of the holiday.
Yet when General Logan established the holiday, he acknowledged its genesis among the Union’s former enemies, saying, “It was not too late for the Union men of the nation to follow the example of the people of the South.”

Please weigh in on a debate. I say it does and the searches seem to support that. Especially since all confederate soldiers were granted a full pardon by president Jackson.
So OTHERS say it doesn’t include confederates and originated with a black gathering in 1868 in Charleston to remember fallen Union soldiers. I read it started with southern women who gathered to de irate graves of confederate soldiers and then they decided to also go ahead and rldeckrate the Union dead graves too and that caught on and untimately transformed into Memorial Day.
What sayeth you
What is the difference between the Constitutional Army and The Confederate Army other than the former won and the latter lost?
The South thought they could leave the voluntary union of states, and the North violently showed them they were wrong. I am not saying that the primary reason for the South leaving (i.e., economics based on slave labor) was right...just questioning if the North had the right to violently require them to stay.
