Bad experience is also experience.

I think America could really benefit from a shite load less career politicians and bureaucrats. As long as the candidate is well informed, has solid integrity and moral character they’ll be hands down an upgrade over 90% of the folks currently in DC.
The state of Kansas currently has a local businessman named Bob Hamilton running for US Senate. Bob is a Christian father of 12 who owns a very successful Plumbing business in the KC metro employing dozens of people. This man would be a good one to send to the Swamp. You want to drain the Swamp? Send a plumber.

I would like them to have two terms or less.
That sounds good on paper but then you would have the equivalent of Vindmans that infest all agencies and the congressional aide population running everything. Actually they do anyway.
need to have the bureaucracy turned over every 10 years but that will never happen

Does anyone here actually care about their elected officials having political experience?
Statewide office or federal positions? Sorry, but that is too much responsibility and authority for OJT.

"Political Experience" in my mind goes straight to corrupt and in the "game"....

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.
By that wisdom, electing Trump was the only SANE thing the country could do.
Pretty simple: The government is corrupt and the country is fked because we keep electing Politicians with "political experience".

I vote for no political experience. It is a plus.

I don’t want them to have any honestly.

I prefer my politicians and my apples to have not been exposed to rotten items. Because rot among either is undefeated.
