It's better than being morally beholden to a foreign country (or it's intelligence agency). Not saying any of our current politicians are in this boat.
FWIW: It's not like he would have borrowed money to build Trump Moscow Towers from the Russian Treasury at 0% interest. Who you borrow money from is business, as long as the principal and interest payments are made without favors.

I just logged into this board to start this thread Jdoc. I’m glad you did it first. By 7-9-2020 everyone that matters (that can legally vote) has made up their mind if they despise Trump or can tolerate-like him. His taxes are not going to swing one person not a damn one. Will somebody that has clout on the TD Poli Board please start a thread that seriously asks if the DNC will drop Black Americans like a hot brick after November or not? I’d love a serious non hostile discussion about that topic but nobody will reply to my crude way of asking that question in a thread. Someone politically eloquent start that thread please I’d do it for you if you asked.

You are thinking of Trump and the Obama Birth Certificate
Trump is accused of holding massive debt with foreign countries. Like with the State Bank of China in his NYC Real estate deals. There are multiple financial transactions to support it. This is fact. Question is not if, but how much debt is currently held and has Trump received "favors" from China in trade for executive action.
Also - I would love to see the financials on this 'hotel' in Baku which looks just like an Iranian money laundering operation.
