I must say if your logic is correct the only hero’s of war are dead ones ( in battle) , Louis "Louie" Zamperini is not a hero but induried things 95 percent of us couldn’t. Yes he was shot down and captured. If McCains pow status means nothing to you or trump then get rid of the pow flag. Why does it exist? Obviously someone thinks the mean and women who have served as pow deserves to be recognized. We thank people for their service but criticize his. Don’t like his politics, think he’s a jerk fine. To put down his service is petty.
Anyone who serves by choice or by draft at least the served.

It is the most cringe worthy thing I believe I have knowledge of Trump saying. That is not because I think MCCain was a hero. MCCain, from account of his poor showing at Naval Academy to substandard skills as a pilot was only there because of Admiral father and Grandfather.
