Do you ever question the concept of "blaming the race/religion/philosophy"

This is a common trend on here. Have any of you ever ever suspected that you couldn't see the forest of the US for the trees.
Why do you blame the groups with the least economic and political influence for so many problems? Wouldn't it stand to reason that in a constitutional republic, elected officials would (and do) make decisions that have larger impacts on society? Blaming "the poor" for decisions that your officials HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE represents a disconnect between the public and political class.
Actually, in our current system people who live in the rural areas have more control than people in the cities despite the population differences. There is no reason a Republican should be unhappy in the US, yet here we are, Why?
Why do we shuffle moral decay on groups out of fear? A celebrity can hypersexualize or demote something, BUT PEOPLE CHOSE TO FOLLOW THEM. The rise of single motherhood and subsequent loss of the nuclear family cant be tied to one subset of the population (race, famous people, etc.)
To conclude, what I'm saying is that it is our leadership (local and state) that has primarily let down our communities economically and socially.
This isnt a rant against those who vote GOP. It's a rant on how far let the GOP get without keeping promises.

I don't blame the poor, or the blacks.
I blame the rich Democrats.
ETA: OTOH, our leadership is only as good as the populace allows.

Conflating race with religion is silly. Religion is a collection of ideas that one can choose to believe or not. Race is an immutable characteristic
if the Koran was not a religious book but was instead judged merely on the ideas that teaches, no rational person would not recognized that someone saying they believe in Islam was just a little bit scary
I know I know we're going to have the people that bring up the Old Testament. Will let me just tell you as an atheist that that's a silly rebuttal. It's silly because whatever flaws the Bible has if someone says they are Christian then they are saying they follow Jesus Christ and good luck finding anything Jesus ever did or said that you find objectionable.
Meanwhile someone who follows the Koran is following the teachings of a truly horrible and vile human being who did truly horrible and vile things
