I don't care. Truth is the first casualty of war and I've learned to embrace the reality of humanity.

Trump says/tweets more stuff per week than any president in history. Therefore, he has more opportunities to contradict himself. His percentage is heavy on the truth side.
The most prolific liar in my lifetime was Bill Clinton. He told lies so often and in such mass quantity that you forgot about last week's lies because there were new ones.
Hillary, OTOH, was not as big a liar as Bill because most of her answers were meaningless.
IE: 'Mrs. Clinton, what is your opinion about issue 'X'?
Hillary: 'I'm very concerned about 'X' and I think we need to work hard to do something about 'X.'
That's not a lie. It's just meaningless.
Obama lied a lot but he really didn't give a lot of speeches while President. Hell, he was in office for 8 years and you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who can remember anything he said. He was also full of Hillary type meaningless phrases like:
'We are the ones we've been waiting for.'
And his standard rebuttal: 'That's not who we are.'
He also used the word 'I' in his speeches more than any other president.
BTW, most of our presidents (going back to Ike) played golf. We don't know how good they were. But Bill Clinton was notorious for cheating. A Shreveport writer who covered him on an outing in Texas said he takes a mulligan per hole. He cards a 90 when he actually shot a 110.
But if you're gonna cheat on your wife a few 100 times and you lie to the public every day then what's a little cheating at golf?

Thank New York cultcha for that. Those yankees would lie just to cover another lie. they figure everyone should be smart enough to discern the truth.

Isn't one of the papers keeping a running tally of all of Trump's "lies"? (Well, everything they consider to be a lie, anyways).

Yeah, it's like 'fact checking'. They give a rebuttal and chalk it up to 'catching him in a lie.'
Another tactic they use: Bob, the NYT reporter, disagrees with Trump and writes an article asserting that Trump is wrong. The title is 'Experts say Trump is wrong.' But there are no experts listed. Bob = the experts.

This was , to me, the most infiuriating thing about the election, all we heard is "Trump won't get into a policy debate with Clinton the policy wonk" but in reality if you listened, he talked about a lot of policy, and she was the most banal person ever, she really never in her life stood for anything. Just generic throwaway comments that never really took a position either way. How was she a policy wonk?? I never got it. Sure she's against a wall, but could she ever explain why a wall was bad for the US, for example?? Of course she could not.

I absolutely think he lies. Obama lied all the time too; that’s called Presidential politics. If you are shocked by it you are very nieve. I only care about what Trump accomplishes in the USA and abroad. I don’t like his tweets but as long as he keeps doing well I will keep supporting him and voting for him.

Sometimes Trump's many lies are not the result of intentional deceit but are the product of a being a dumbass who lacks enough self-control to prevent himself from making stupid remarks as seen in the example below.
And then there are his lies which he truly believes, like "Kim Jong Un is an honorable man".
And then there are the truly deceitful lies like
He is totally lacking in credibility and integrity. Without question the most corrupt Prez in history.

California wildfires are being magnified & made so much worse by the bad environmental laws which aren’t allowing massive amount of readily available water to be properly utilized. It is being diverted into the Pacific Ocean. Must also tree clear to stop fire spreading!

“His father was with Lee Harvey Oswald prior to Oswald's being — you know, shot. I mean, the whole thing is ridiculous,” Trump said Tuesday during a phone interview with Fox News. “What is this, right prior to his being shot, and nobody even brings it up. They don't even talk about that. That was reported, and nobody talks about it.”
“I mean, what was he doing — what was he doing with Lee Harvey Oswald shortly before the death? Before the shooting?” Trump continued. “It’s horrible.”

Were that another president doing it, y'all would say that their position were evolving or something like that.

but he is the president. he needs to be BETTER than us. dignity is important.

Not a lie at all, you - and to be fair most liberals - are simply stupid and or dishonest Here's a discussion with an actual expert on the topic talking how CA sends water that is perfectly usable into the Pacific Ocean

Trump 100% correct

Trump isn't the only one who believes that the man could have been Cruz's father. Meaning he may be wrong, but it isn't a lie to claim that it is. Meaning it is actually YOU who are lying here.

WaPo Lie Tracker
4,229 lies in 558 days. They list the lies if you want to look for bias. Worth noting, his frequency of lie telling has increased dramatically the last couple of months as the Mueller heat has been turned up.

So... one of their "lies" is that Trump said he didn't need the Koch brothers, and that's a lie because, according to Politico, according to a report, he did seek out their endorsement? Is that like saying you are lying because a friend of my third cousin's sister's boyfriend's mom's hairdresser said something might have been different?
Posted on 8/6/18 at 11:40 am to SSpaniel
“....I never sought their support because I don’t need their money or bad ideas.”
Trump did seek the Koch Brothers support but was rejected, according to Politico.

FFS. Did you even read the Politico article? Did you read anything else off the WaPo tracker?
I mean, I get it...you don't want to read or hear about bad things your President has done. But that doesn't mean those facts don't exist.
