Lots of people praised Fauci early on, including Trump and most governors.
Hell, I’ll bet most people were early on.
It’s what happened when realization set in that Fauci was a POS that matters.
We were in VERY uncharted waters with CV-19 in early 2020. What happened later that year and beyond is what says a lot about someone.

So did Trump initially.....what's your point? Ultimately DeSantis told Fauci and the CDC to frick off.....pretty early .

A lot of people listened to Fauci early on, but DeSantis did his own in-depth research into covid and changed his tune. Unlike Cuomo in NY, he shifted to focusing on protecting Florida's large elderly population rather than crippling the state's economy to lock down people at low to zero risk.
