I agree with that. It's hard hard to find pregnant momma cows right now. You're going to pay out the arse for them.

Sure. I dont blindly follow any person.
Do you support Trumps desire to fix the "crisis" by importing more beef?
How does that fit in with your desire to tariffs the shite out of the world so imports are cut?
And I do hope you understand that tariffs and inflation are part of the reason ranchers are struggling.

The tariffs enacted by President Trump have significantly impacted the cost for US ranchers. The increased tariffs on goods from Canada and Mexico, along with higher tariffs on Chinese exports, have led to retaliatory measures from these countries. These retaliatory tariffs on U.S. products have raised prices for the average family by more than $1,200 a year, increased gas prices by as much as 50¢ a gallon, and raised fertilizer costs for corn and soybean farmers. The tariffs have also caused retail stores and refineries to increase prices, further exacerbating the impact on ranchers
Trumps desire to arbitrarily lower prices like a communist hurts ranchers, hurts supply. It helps no one.
quote:
Economists have warned there is no quick fix to lowering U.S. cattle prices, because it takes two years to produce full-grown cattle.
"He needs to take a class in supply and demand," said Arlan Suderman, chief commodities economist for StoneX. "Cattle prices are high because demand is stronger than the supply. If you want to increase the supply of beef long term, you don't do it by lowering prices."
Trump is an macro retard.
quote:
"The Cattle Ranchers, who I love, don’t understand that the only reason they are doing so well, for the first time in decades, is because I put Tariffs on cattle coming into the United States,
Hes a world class liar.

Yeah, one of our ranch hands has been saving up to go out on his own for years and his goal was this year but had to put it off a few more years because the market entry cost is bananas. Under normal circumstances, we would have just made him a sweet deal on some of the ones he was working as a thank you for years of service. But we're down 30% since 2020 and if i keep trimming it down then it creates more problems for me. If we have a mild winter in west texas I think the spring could be really good but we'll have to see.

While I don't necessarily agree with it, this is an inaccurate description. The United States is doing a $20 billion currency swap, so it's not a gift or a grant.
The problem is their currency is in a tailspin. If you feel differently perhaps trade some of your greenbacks for Argentine pesos…

I have none, unlike yourself.
I find it funny that MAGA figs think "disability" is the only way to survive without working.

Nor do many here. But your disdain for anything trump blinds you from seeing anything resembling approval as "blind loyalty". You have demonstrated with every post, you inability to be objective regarding all things Trump.

I'd have to do more research about it. I'm not claiming to be an expert in the matter, unlike yourself.

Who said i desired to "tariff the shite out of the world"? That's rather gooberish of you.

I'm sure there are many reasons. However, you seem to be confident that the only reason ranchers are struggling is because Trump. Which is asinine.

Thats paranoia. There are multiple factors i have posted in this thread. Unfortunately the rising cost of goods and services is on Trump and Biden.

Daddy Trump knows what he is doing. His loyal supporters know he is always right. Don't expect critical thinking from progressives or populist. Just relax and enjoy the ride...it ends in full blown socialism but who cares...right?

Youre spot on, and Ive warned about this for almost a decade.
Ownership of private industry, centralized trade policy, MMT.... We may already be on the threshold.

Roger, let me let you in on a secret here. You are an a-hole. People don't like assholes. But, ever since Trump was elected, you have become this TDS riddled, deranged, angry little hobbit of a man. You immediately attack anything Trump, or anyone that supports Trump. Do you think anyone likes you here? Now, cue the "i don't care", that's great. But, if your goal is to try and persuade anyone here to come into your line of thinking, you have to be somewhat likeable. You just aren't. Therefore, people just don't believe you. You could be 100% right about whatever you are blabbering about, but no one cares because no one likes you. You have zero tact in convincing others. You don't know how to win friends. You don't know how to debate. All you know how to do is hurl insults, be a pompous arse, and then tell everyone who has a different opinion than you, of how stupid they are. That's not the sign of a) a real man b) a competent person, c) a leader of any sort.
You may want to work on yourself if you want anyone to believe anything you post here. I may disagree with most of the liberal posters here, but none of them are as vitriolic as you are. You're a hyperventilating lunatic. You need to calm down.
Finally, when you were younger, did you expect your golden years to be spent screaming at people on the internet? Probably not. Seek help.

It's going to happen, first to own the left and prop up the massive ego of Trump then it will happen in earnest when the left get back in and use these very moves that the populist right are supporting as precedence and then it will be over. They'll never let it go back to being a free country.
Trump is reactionary correction on the wheel that proceeds the overcorrection that will flip the car. You can blame Biden for driving us off the road a bit, but in the end it's the responses that end up causing the crash.
What's sad is so many are so loyal to Trump they don't care. Like the left they'd rather wreck it all than keep it between the ditches.

Agree, its those that need to be ridiculed.
Most hated tariffs when they were Obamas.

They won’t lower their price. Wealthy people are greedy as frick and obsessed with their wealth. I’m not talking about rich people I’m talking about mother frickers that own cattle operations.
