1. The NSA spies on all of us (which is terrible, and a separate issue that we need to resolve). But it is allowed under the guise of preventing terrorism.

2. The Democrats and the Obama administration used information gathered in this nearly universal surveillance against their political enemies.

They abused their power as the US government to gather surveillance on and attempt to destroy their political opposition.

They did something similar when the Obama IRS targeted conservatives with audits. They used their power to target private citizens and cause them personal and financial harm, simply because of the political beliefs of those private citizens.

The entire former administration should probably be in federal prison. This is Watergate X 10.
