Nope.
Same sense of urgency.
Obviously His will then was different than is His will now.
Many new lessons for me to learn, that's for sure.

Yes. I even preemptively apologized to the Lord for having to pray about something seemingly so small compared to such real suffering all over the world, but begged God for our country to wake up and see the corruption and evil that exists in our government. That they might give someone from outside a chance to bring this country back to the foundation And goodness by which it was founded. It kind of turned into begging on Tuesday night when Florida was coming in.

Trump couldn't have won this without God. He had a hand in this MIRACLE.

No, I left in to whatever purpose God intended

However, I did fast. Personal sacrifice on my part in securing protection for my family. No matter the outcome

I prayed for His will to be done, and that whoever was elected would turn to His will and lead our country in a Christian manner.

tigerpawl, your Father loves hearing your prayers--I know you know that.
Don't apologize for taking to Him what's on your heart and mind.

My wife did on her way home from Marksville Tues. Her and a friend were having lunch today and talking about her praying. Gentleman in the booth next to them got up to leave and told my wife on the way out that yes, he too had prayed that God would do his will. Said his prayer was answered.

Myself, I do believe divine intervention played a part. You just don't have that much luck and coincidences that line up just right in something as complex as a presidential race.

Not really. I pray for the church more than I ever do the nation. I love our nation and churches but believe true change, national, begins in our houses of worship

Heard someone say the other day that Churches used to be thermostats. Now, they're just thermometers. Will Trump's victory back-flow into the pulpits?

wow

So you guys prayed for a candidate that:
-has supported gay marriage
-has been divorced twice
-is as inflammatory as he is
-said "grab her by the pussy"
-curses
-was in playboy

I wanted Trump to win too, but really?

Don't really know. If we stop putting on the form of godliness while denying its power there is hope. If not, might as well be a gathering for the civic minded or some such
