re: Did anybody else happen to catch Mary on WJBO this morning?

Her husband is from Monroe. I knew him well when we were in our early 20's and both single. We attended several parties and double dates about 1972 or so. He is from a rich attorney/banking family. I also knew Mary around '79 or '80. I was in the Senate and she in the House. I was on the Joint Highway Committee with her,worked several half days with her. When she met Snellings, I knew both and thought it was love at first sight. She asked me about him, since I was from Bastrop and also represented North Ouachita Parish. They got married a little later. I think it's a true love marriage as I remember.
