There have been several rounds of prisoner releases since 2022. Ortega has jailed political opponents, journalists and even priests. He's been in office since 2007 and he has slowly but surely eliminated or jailed any opposition.

Hope not because it’s just an idea and one probably being used more as psychological tool.
