Homosexuality was viewed (still is viewed) by a huge portion of the country as a mental illness as well. I’m just wondering where the line is here. Have we crossed it?
There is no line anymore, the inmates are running the asylum. This will only get worse.
A normal family is the greatest enemy to dependence on government, and liberals have been working hard for decades to destroy it.
They have succeeded, it has passed the point of no return. When one day they look at the ruin of society and look for someone to blame they need only find a mirror.

I agree. Some of that comes with learning to lose. This fundamental bedrock of being a man is becoming lost. Participation trophies and crying to the skyies when something doesn’t go your way is a serious problem. This is happening on both sides at extreme levels. Kids who lose early on should get nothing but encouragement for doing better, so that when they lose as an adult they can handle it with dignity and learn from it, because everyone loses. Sky screamers lose sometimes, trump loses sometimes, and they should all have a humbleness and the masculinity to admit it.

Also you see how far skewed some people are when the first line of a response is the flat and easy “homosexuals are deviants”. I think more people on your side should be more critical of that sort of intolerance.

It's an opinion. I really don't care how people feel about sexuality. "Intolerance" is unfairly demonized IMO as well. Im pretty grossed out by poop eating as a sexual fetish myself and don't really care if it's considered "intolerable."
There are always faaar more than two sides to every issue.

I'm old school about sexuality. Keep it hidden. Be who you are, but you don't have to express yourself publicly based on your sexual preferences.

That’s the whole reason the right is called bigots. Not for actual bigotry of each individual, but the refusal to denounce their fellow racists and idiots. Placing a divider there would do wonders. I will always come out against party faults on either side. The right eating some of their own on issues goes a long way as wellS

The goal is not the normalization of the particular perversion/illness, the goal is the utter destruction of the concept of "norms". Then you can destroy any standard for anything and determine that what is right is what you say is right and anything said in disagreement is some sort of -ism.
Does anybody really think a generation raised starting with now as " old-fashioned" won't say, "Well if somebody wants to frick a dog or a kid in the privacy of their own home it doesn't bother me. I don't care what goes on in their bedroom!"
Hell we have a certain slice of morons who think 17 year olds should decide policy so who says they and their 14 year old sisters can't frick 40 year olds? Roy Moore was merely born 50 years too soon and in the wrong party.

I’m with you here. But it wasn’t going to go from ‘beat the shite out of the fig and shave his head’ to everything’s cool just don’t talk about it. It was going to unfortunately go through this “pride” period where people needed to publicly say it was acceptable to be gay and not ashamed like the thousands of years before this demonstrated. It’s just gone too far with other things.

You know man, the persecution was good for them. Social pressure causes strength and helps us evolve. We need more people to be challenged and less "unconditional acceptance"
You may think the "snowflake" generation is a false moniker but it's very real and it's because we (as parents) spoiled our kids, treated daughters like a princess and were over protective of out boys.
Universal acceptance is bad for any society.

You may not see it, but the progressive wing of society is exactly the same way.
Most people are bigots. Its ok, it's normal. Don't use it to mistreat people, but use it to challenge what's normal not just for them, but for yourself.
