I was under the impression the SBA loans for the small businesses would be grants and would not have to be paid back. The government wants you to keep paying your employees and they are going to reimburse you.

If the Republicans caved, then the ones that did it, should be replaced. I’m wary of this

If I see funding for the fricking arts. I'm voting for Cassidy's primary challenger

A good idea in theory
So they are just coming up with payroll for 30 employees at full rate and all your operating expenses for a month you were out of business?
It doesnt add up when you do the math. We are looking at a couple hundred thousand dollars alone at our business alone with that plan.
Where is that coming from?

$2 trillion negotiated in one week?
When is the last time you spent $10k with less than 1 week of consideration?
Well, that was done for 200,000 times the amount.

My bad, 200 million the amount

Pelosi got rolled again.
NOTHING she asked for is in the agreed upon bill. It's basically identical to the bill the senate was going to agree to over the weekend.
this is a face-saving move by dems, who were getting killed on front page newspapers for blocking checks to americans.

Best case scenario is that Democrats got such backlash that they caved. What I fear happened is that Republicans bitched out

I’m not sure but I saw Munichin talking on Fox about it yesterday. The payroll and benefits you are paying out while your business is down would be grants not loans.

I mean I have heard all the chatter
Its just that my business would be about $300,000 in the hole between payroll and operating expenses if we are looking at two months closed.
We will never see a check for that amount of money.
One of millions of businesses at the same level.
There is not enough money to do this.

One detail just said on FOX was that “No Congressman or the President or VP can get money for the businesses they own.”

Senior GOP source re Schumer’s take on the deal:
- It’s the same bill “with marginal changes.”
- He’s “trying to take credit” for the structure he filibustered and delayed for “small ball” alterations.
- Face saving exercise, Dems realized this couldn’t drag on much longer.

That was just a shot at trump, they will just move businesses around out of their names one of their kids get the package.
I want to know about self employed people. I single-handly run my own business. No I don’t employ people but my business has been affected as well so I’m anxious to see if the many people that are real estate agents, insurance agents, hair saloons, etc are going to get what they deserve as well.
