Bongino has been stating that "Simpson, Ohr and SOMEONE ELSE. More coming in the future. Wait until you hear this one. And Steele was a bit player in the Dossier. The Dems have been lying. Even Fiona Hill is skeptical"
"It was written by someone else they may be hiding." He will be getting to it in the future.

He often says he never cares to be "Breaking News"
He's implying that he is pretty confident in his sources, he has the name, but he will check with other sources to see.
The source may have also asked him to wait...who knows?

I see no reason to believe the Dossier wasn't written by Brennan as inspired by Simpson's 2007 WSJ story.
