Mulberry, AR was once a sundown town. Mulberry is about 20 minutes from where I live. The "town" portion of Mulberry was safe, but when you headed north in to the hills they had a sign just before you got in to the hills that said "If you're black and it's dark - you're dead".
At that time there were no black people in Mulberry, now they have a small population of blacks that live...in the hills.
