Daily quiz: Who might want to obfuscate the truth?

I get a daily email with a word quiz. A word is used in a sentence and you have to guess which answer is correct.
Here's today's quiz:
Who might want to obfuscate the truth?
a) A journalist
b) A criminal
c) A detective
d) A judge
Of course it's a trick question since there are actually TWO correct answers, "a" and "d" (I'm looking at you, Judge Sullivan).
Anyway, here's how I answered:

A criminal
Obfuscate

You are not wrong. I wish I lived in that make believe world where the other 3 choices were above reproach. Oh hell, maybe just the world where A, C, & D are not often B would be great.

Yeah, honestly I immediately thought all of the above.
Usually criminals aren't bright enough to obfuscate.
But detectives are. Journalists are. And judges like Sullivan are...
