Amen and amen.

Currently trending to be fewest new cases since March 27th and fewest deaths since March 25th.

March 25th to 27th was a decade ago, news-wise.

Big declines today in new cases and deaths.

It is Monday, we normally don't see the weekend rebound until Tuesday.

Cases were down 6.3K from yesterday, 615 Vs last Monday and 4.5K below the 7 day rolling average. Testing was at 403K with only a 4% positivity rate.

Deaths at their lowest since March 28th at 469, 187 Down from yesterday, 54 Down from last week and 465 below the 7day rolling average.

Mortality continuing to slowly decline and is at 5.5% today.

I still follow the worldmeters numbers. They showed 752 for the day, but 189 of those and 3840 cases were from Massachusetts. Those almost look like data dump stats.

Next 2 days are going to determine if the deaths are going to really free-fall. Hopefully, we can stay below 1100 both days.

And I’m loving it.

That’s just data catch up.
Florida had fewer than 10 deaths/day reported in the previous several days.

No doubt. Just saying it likely won't be a low total today with the catching up.

Eh. That won’t effect the overall total too much. Massachusetts data dumped ~150 deaths yesterday.

I'm guessing 1200+ today.

Just a guess, but I think we’ll be closer to 1,000 than 1,200.

Some big numbers coming out today.

Won't change the overall decline though.

Just a heads up. I may be going camping tomorrow and would be out of town through Sunday...If so, updates to the trackers will be sporadic at best and might not occur at all depending on my connectivity.

Just going on trajectory we (Alabama) got our first covid case in Mid-March. so based on that we should start seeing drop in cases by mid - June/early July. death average will probably linger for another month or two due to cities like Montgomery and mobile
