We have the most formidable navy and we have plenty of resources in the area. We don’t have to “do it alone,” but we do need to take the lead. Additionally international shipping lanes that affect international commerce and therefore global markets the US has a vested interest in.

Britain has spent all the money it would have used on its navy on its medical system. It has but 19 total combined destroyers and frigates. It can’t project power at all. It has no harrier jets anymore at sea and it’s carriers are not ready. They are a complete shadow of their former self and a paper tiger. They cannot beat Iran.

Actually their navy is smaller now than it has been since the 15th century. It has 19 active destroyers and frigates that can do battle. It has some amphibious ships that act as helicopter carriers but I’m not sure they are mothballed. The British left gutted the military for the medical system. They can’t project power. They do not have any carrier based Harriers left in service, no active carriers in service and they do not have the surface fleet to protect them anyway.

American taxpayers should not be subsidizing British socialism. If we fight their conflicts for them, that's exactly what we are doing.

The fall of the British empire, and thus British military power, foreshadows that is going to happen here. As the left gained power in the U.K., they instituted policies that cost them their colonies, their mastery of the sea, their place as a superpower then as a global power and now they aren’t even a regional power. There was a Russian ship that sails off the coast of Scotland, in the U.K. exclusion zone, and it took 24 hours to get a ship up to their northern coast to intercept it. Think about that. They had one warship seaworthy to defend their coast. They rely almost solely on their nuclear arsenal for defense. That is four nuke boats that carry all their deployable nukes.
This all happened in less than 75 years. Think of that. From superpower to useless in a lifetime.
This is the real reason behind the American left. This is what the communist in the eastern block back then and China now, along with Russia, have planned for us. They first took control of entertainment, controlling what people see and hear. Then they slowly took control of the hiring programs across universities, making sure only leftest are hired. Afterwards, they made god damn sure all the education department heads were Marxist so that only ideological comparable leftest would train teachers. This lead to the students in America being indoctrinated for the last three generations. They also took control of labor unions and are in the process of taking over the law. If you don’t believe me, ask yourself what would happen if a republican did what Clinton did and if they would have been arrested.
The US will fall like Britain did. At one time one fourth of the world’s landmass and one third of its population was British. Now look at the pathetic state of the U.K.
Who is to gain the most of a post America world? That is who is behind the comprehensive plan to destroy American power.
We are at war with a group that is hell bent on our decline and has managed through propaganda to convince half of the population that the decline of American power is in their best interest. Think about that.
What the US should learn from Britain’s fall
