Had one of those for a couple of years. She couldn't wait to get her family over here. She had nothing good to say about Cuba.

It's incredible that what would be the playground of the world has been shuttered and segregated so long. They can have everything a vacationer would ever want. Beaches, jungle, eco-tourism, fishing, diving, mountains, exclusive resorts, cheap bungalows, biking, hiking, yacht cruising, Sailboat rentals, the best of the best imported hookers, etc. You name it. Only a short flight from most all USA airports.

Boggles the mind actually as to the potential of it all. I was in a group considering an investment running high speed ferries from Key West 20 years ago. Obviously it did not go through, sad to say. Unholy fortunes to be made there.

socialism corrupts people, they are getting lazy, unwilling and unable to work. There is no quality of services or goods. It's a failing, parasitic, and corrupt system. Only the communist party elite lives well; everyone else suffers.
Cuba is only blessed with a warm climate, a warm ocean, and tropical fruits that grow naturally.

In Havana their public water system consists of a tank on your house and you only have a certain time in the morning and a certain time in the evening to fill your tank. T
I like to google earth all over the place and I wondering why all the houses in shithole countries had tanks on the roof. I never considered much that a big city would not have a central water system,

I’m in the tobacco industry (more specifically cigars) and would love to be able to sell Cubans.

They’re a bit overrated by today’s standards imo, but I would sell thousands and thousands based on the mystique alone.
