About two weeks ago through a major health care provider.
Originally, we thought nasopharyngeal swabs were the only way to pick up asymptomatic patients. We discovered that wasn’t true. Simple nasal swabs have been picking them up as well
Maybe some of y’all are assholes and the nurses are pulling the old 6 inchers out the back
I kid I kid

Asymptomatic? What is the confidence of this newer test?

The rapid test is effectively worthless.

When did it become 90%? There must be at least two, then. When my wife had it done, it clearly stated in the paperwork that there was at least a 30% chance that a negative reading would be incorrect and instructed the patient to still quarantine for 14 days.

My daughter, 20, tested positive. I made them test her again 10 min later. Negative. The doctor told me it is not reliable but mainly used by restaurant workers who just need a test result to get back to work.

Based on some tiktok videos I've seen I wouldn't mind pulling the old six incher out with some nurses.

It’s not that rapid either.
Got the test yesterday and might not have result until Thursday or Friday.
Then you didn't have the rapid test. Roughly 20 minutes, tops.

20 minutes to flip a coin?

I’m already recovered from symptoms but can’t go to work until the test comes back, assuming it is actually negative
What kind of symptoms did you experience? Glad you’re feeling better.
