Absolutely! Do you have a link?

I don’t know.
But your Mothers experience doesn’t disprove anything. The rhetorical success seems to be towards getting administered this earlier than your Mother In law received it. Hypothetically, if she received it earlier, it may have kept her off the ventilator.
Furthermore, it doesn’t need to be 100% effective to have a major impact. It just has to lower the severe cases enough that the economy opens back up.

It might not be a full cure, but it's definitely going to decrease the numbers of deaths.

Basic sanitation , wearing masks and a moderate level of social distancing would end this like it did for the Asians. But since we sold out to the China we have no access to masks, you can barely find sanitizers and social distancing of any level is a foreign concept for Americans.

Spoke with a good friend today who runs a large ER system. He said the combo (hydroxychloroquine and Z pack) are doing wonders. He did say that at some point, after a patient has progressed to a critical state, the effectiveness drops considerable. But for those that get it early, it’s a big time breakthrough

Could it be partly because the movie “ Contagion” has become a Netflix staple and exposed charlatan cures such as the fictional drug “forsythia”?
Is hydro the new forsythia?
Lord, I hope not. I pray it’s the real deal. And there’s so much cya going on in USA medicine today it is pitiful.
(Btw. I thought the movie was really good.)

We could. We better or we’re gonna lose everything. Look at Taiwan!

Well we don't have enough data
From what I heard on OAN earlier today, both Italy and France have found great results from their trials and are now issuing the medication.

It’s possible. But there are two healthy guys in their 20s in the ICU in Shreveport on this with no improvement yet. Gotta hope the medicine helps before they’re too far gone.
ETA: they are getting the hydroxychloroquine and z pack regimen

bullshite.
My sister is 45 and lives in Bergen County, NJ and she had it for 8 days before the test came back positive. She’s healthy so it was low grade fever and severe chest congestion but took her first Z-pack/Hydroxychloroquine dose two days ago and within 24 hours the fever was gone and she can breathe freely now.
I don’t know why people like you hope for the worst just so the POTUS won’t be proven right again but it’s pathetic.

If this is true (and I realize that this is no certainty), then EVERYONE who exhibits symptoms should be administered this drug. All of our resources should go towards producing enough to implement that plan.

even before they had positive the test results
bullshite. You need a positive test, lupus or RA to get the meds.

Sorry about your motherinlaw. :(
Just curious though- How far into the virus did she start taking it? It is my understanding there’s a window of time that Hydroxychloroquine is most effective. It’s best to take it before the virus starts infiltrating your lower respiratory cells/before your alveoli start filling up with fluid/before stage 3 of pneumonia really settles in
