McDonalds, Coca Cola, Starbucks and so many retail companies have shutdown their Russian Operations. What is the end goal? The only one I can think of is to crater the economy and shatter the home economies of the average person that they will rise up and throw Putin out or have a coup at the highest levels. This is the only thing that would make any sense. I don't agree with it but there is a logic to it.

Otherwise all this does is destroy the livelihoods of avg people that have nothing to do with this war or decisions being made. Media and socials are cheering the govt theft of oligarch yachts, etc, but now the corporations are going after the avg person and robbing them of their livelihoods. Is all of this organic by these corporations? I don't believe that at all. They are doing the bidding of the govts.
These corporations have done it before, especially in the US for the last 2 years. When the fear porn by the media and Fauci didn't get enough people vaccinated they got the corporations to do the govts bidding in creating corporate vax mandates. The Fed Govt couldn't blanket do it so they pushed companies to do it. When that wasn't enough, Dems pushed mandates at the local level, and the Feds pushed it thru OSHA.

But the media also did the govts bidding by suppressing articles, videos, data, and anything that wasn't agreeable to the govt's narrative, all under the guise of fact-checking. Big Tech happily jumped in to squash opposing opinions on treatments and even data from official sources that didn't support Fauci and the Feds.
So it is a scary time for sure when corporations behave as an extension of the govts to shutdown opposition, differing opinions, protests to govt, etc.

Corporations have always waged the wars. Who do you think owns congress and the Whitehouse?

ETA. I wonder if they believe the US military would have major internal problems if they decided to force them into waging war for their interests and have decided to use the current method instead to save face. Maybe the military isn't as chucked as I thought.

It drives the Russians into the arms of the Chinese.

How is this good for anyone?

Our government is truly run by idiots. That is not hyperbole.

The only evidence I need to present is to ask you to take a look at the state of the world.

We are on the cusp of a completely preventable global catastrophe.

I agree. Corporations have been a very strong part in foreign policy. Heck Hitler had to get the big German corporations on board to change and influence the public.

But I don't know if it has been this blatant and organized across all retail and manufacturing and banking in order to destroy the livelihoods of the people in such a public way, and to destroy an economy of the country. This has to be a regime change agenda.
