When I was a college athlete and even into my professional days, the "Core Values" were pretty basic and understood.

1. Go To Class
2. Work Hard
3. Be On Time

I was in a college locker room over the weekend and the following "Core Values" were listed.

1. No Drugs
2. No Guns
3. No Stealing
4. Respect Women

It was disappointing to see this as a "Core Value". What we understood as normal behavior even 10 years ago now has to be presented like this. Pretty sad state of affairs.

I did a double take. I could not believe this was posted on the walls and on the sets of double doors leaving the facility.

I've seen that myself, and the fact that those are listed as "values" makes it even more reprehensible. Those were considered merely standards held by a "reasonable and civil person" at a point in time not too long ago.
