This just dropped last night and is very interesting.
YouTube link
First question is: Would Andrew Breitbart have supported Trump?
Second question: Have you ever tasted bacon? Would you?

Based on what Breitbart was working on when he was assassinated, I think he would very much support Trump despite having some philosophical differences.

Primaries? No
General? Yes
He was more focused on the media as a liberal activist group and PC culture being used to silence people and he was balls to the wall.
But who cares and anyone who would prescribe a position to their friend (well publicly at least) is slimy. You never know and you're just using their credibility to bolster your agenda and ego
Who cares what he would've thought? He wasn't god.

He was pretty clear he was talking about a friend or associate hypothesizing.

Andrew Breitbart was my hero. I was immediately drawn to him when I heard his story about discovering the internet and how it was perfect because of the massive amount of content and how that worked with his ADD. Righteous Indignation is one of my favorite books that I have ever read. I thought Ben was pretty much spot on. I think Andrew would have been drawn to Trump due to his unrelenting attacks towards the MSM. I also think it's true that he wouldn't have campaigned for him during the primary, that he probably would have been a Cruz supporter since he was so involved with the tea party. To that point, the tea party may still be a "thing" if Andrew was still around. I just feel like he would have been pedal to the floor with Trump as he took on the MSM. It would have been too much for him to not support as the media started to systematically try and destroy him, after he was their darling for so many years.
Fox Mulder made a great point that is/was lost on many people about Breitbart. For him, it was less about turning people to conservative points and more about drawing attention to hypocrisy and bias of the MSM. A fine example was the Shirley Sherrod scandal. He was demonized for ruining this woman's career and selectively editing the video that showed her saying she had reservations about helping a white farmer at an NAACP event. He reminded people this had nothing to do Mrs. Sherrod but that at an NAACP event, which was calling the tea party racist at the time, members were giving positive reaction to her racism. The man was brilliant and he had the uncanny ability to know exactly what the media would do in every situation. Most of his well know encounters were so effective because of how he played the media against themselves(ACORN,Anthony Weiner,Shirley Sherrod). Fun fact: His first girlfriend at Tulane was from Shreveport.
