I believe corporations are either under threat of losing some kind of federal funding or are being encouraged with federal funding to push this.

Had a call today with a vendor, and we would typically have someone on site several times during peak season. They didn't allow any visits last year, and now they are saying they may not this year due to "the scary surge with this new variant."
I pulled up every chart I could find, but can't find any scary surges. I guess to me, a scary surge would be 100% of the population catches it and an actual percentage are dropping dead... not that people are "testing positive" for a virus with an almost impossible chance of fatality.
