A foreign agency (Australia, UK most likely) tapped his phone calls and relayed them to the president. 5 i’s, remember?

They were listening long before any of this happened, the Kislyak phone call is the end result, people are focusing on the wrong things

This, right here, is the answer. They may have picked up the outgoing call with the pin but they got some foreign intelligence agency to provide the transcript, which is illegal. That's why McCabe says the name was never masked.

this statement is deceiving. The pen register is court authorized, so technically not a search warrant, it is still court ordered. Once the judge who issued the order saw Flynn's name on the application, that would/should have triggered a WTF..If true, I would love to see what was in that application, this is going to get really good as this goes on.
