And that was a record voting year for the GOP with Trump on the ballot.
The GOP may over perform relative to expectations, but you won’t see numbers anything like this.

4 weeks ago he was saying it's a bloodbath, Republicans are getting crushed, etc etc etc - he does this every election cycle for clicks
Now he is saying oh shite, Republicans are about to run the table.
He always has to tighten up his poll predictions the closer it gets to elections. He does this every single election cycle and when he starts tightening his predictions, it means he's trying to save face
