The 2% tax exists already. Vote no, EBR gets it Vote yes StG gets it to run the new city. Real simple. Sadly this should have been automatic but the fight to kill StG and continue the corrupt way of BR continues.

The entire decision of the Louisiana Supreme Court to allow the incorporation of St. George was because they demonstrated that they could provide city services BASED UPON THE 2% SALES TAX. Suspiciously, PULSE is now wanting a 1% sales tax. Just enough to slowly put SG into a deficit.
Seems legit
