Chuck Grassley on the Save Act

Pretty sure Chuck is a disembodied head at this point being kept alive by machines and children’s adrenachrome.

Here’s my increasing frustration with people like Grassley. At a certain point most people his age are unable to move out of the past to manage the future. They rely on experience from decades ago that doesn’t address current realities. Thirty plus years ago, there was time to sit around and discuss the ins and outs of voter ID. However, you’ve discussed it to death for decades now. The time for talk is over and action must take place. You can’t allow tens of millions of undocumented people into the country and allow it to reach a point where states are issuing them drivers licenses and registering them to vote.

On the same note, he’s also hamstrung the entire DOJ because he’s hung up on some ancient tradition involving US attorneys. This is not 1965. Tying up the appointments of 75 percent of the president’s US attorney nominees because you’re too damn old to understand the dynamics of today’s society is asinine

He's verified because he's a Senator, not because he pays for it, but maybe the rules are the same. Don't know.
