Has Mississippi had a recent vote on the flag?

Is this the Mississippi flag before the war?

Mind you that referendum was needed because it was discovered Mississippi had no official flag by law by error of a repeal of those laws at the turn of the 20th century.

He is the only one actively campaigning to keep it - but says that 20-21 senators are on his side and will block any attempt at changing the flag.

Unofficially, someone in his bloc suggested requiring the Mississippi colleges to pull out of the NCAA and compete against themselves if need be. Luckily they were told that would not fly.

Mississippi cant get out of its own way.

I think the threat of pulling out of the SEC or the NCAA is a good idea. At some point a school , somewhere , as got to say enough is enough . We aren’t changing anything else .
